Cirque Du Jose
Tonight I'm headed to Jersey to see Cirque Du Soleil's Varekai. Ever since I went to see La Nouba at Pleasure Island, I've been obsessed with the "Magic" that is Cirque Du Soleil. Being an avid theatre goer, it takes quite a bit of theatre magic to overwhelm me. This Summer I went to see their new Las Vegas show, Ka. I can honestly say that this piece takes theatre to another level. The set and theatre alone left me awestruck and mesmerized. I become so inspired by the otherworldly surroundings, the grace and strengths of their performers, and the messages of hope, dreams, and passion that their productions portray. Someday I hope to run away and join THIS circus. Plus there's no elephants to poop on stage.

I dunno if it's still running, but you should see Allegria...the show revolves around a "bird" theme and is enchanting. My friend Tony had an extra ticket, so I got to see it in Houston with him a few years back.
