2 Things To Combat A Rainy Day

Today's weather couldn't have been worse in New York- Rainy, Windy, Cold. Such a difference from the 80 degree weather that I left in Indianapolis! In any event, I wasn't going to let it ruin my day. I've been in this very positive thinking mode since I got back. And so far, it seems to be paying off. I had a wonderful audition this morning for another production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, which resulted in a callback tomorrow. And Anthony and Dominic were there- two of my Millie loves. Then I went to Equity and ran into my college friend Staci- yeah! After much reminiscing about the famed McHale's hamburger with my friend Christine, my Millie, I sought it out at Le Rendezvous, where the cooks from McHale's ended up- and it was just as mouth watering as I remembered! I returned to J. Crew to open arms with several people saying how much they missed me- it's nice to be missed! And my Tall Dulce De Leche Latte from Starbucks was ever so delicious and reminded me of some dear friends doing "Guys and Dolls" at the Beef. Hmm... so what am I trying to say here? Friends and Food make any rainy day better? Yeah... I think that's what I'm trying to say.
